Mission Statement

My mission is to help others, help themselves through the body code and self regulation tools that train the body to feel safe enough to engage in the rest and digest state once again, after spending years in chronic fight, flight, or freeze mode. 

Many of us are living in chronic states of stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD because trauma impacts the body’s natural self regulation cycle. Our bodies were meant to fluctuate between the fight, flight, or freeze response and the rest and digest state. Unfortunately, the impacts of trauma alter this natural cycle to constantly favor the fight or flight response, which then signals the body to constantly send out stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. Long term side effects include chronic inflammation, anxiety, depression, digestion problems, headaches, weight gain, sleep problems and SO much more.


It is my personal belief that many medications for physical and emotional symptoms are unnecessary and do more harm than good when side effects are taken into consideration. Medications were designed to cover up your underlying imbalances causing them. Symptoms are the body’s natural warning system to a problem, we must start treating it as such! There are many self regulation tools, energy healing modalities, natural herbs, and essential oils that can assist in eliminating your imbalance and not covering up the unwanted symptom.


Healing is a conscious practice that takes time. Be patient with yourself and celebrate the small wins! It took you years to create all the small underlying imbalances that manifested into your physical and emotional symptoms, it will take some time and patience to undo them. You are retraining your body and brain through utilizing different healing modalities and tools.

About Me

Hey everyone, I’m Amanda Jordon and I created Gratitude and Self Love because I’ve always had a passion and gift for helping others with their personal problems. I am extremely grateful for the 2020 pandemic, I feel it gifted me with the opportunity to slow down and reflect on what I really wanted. I realized my life trajectory didn’t align with my personal goals and dreams. In October 2020, I dropped out of the masters program in accounting with no real plan, but the determination and courage to start creating the life I desired. 

After discovering the power and importance of energy healing, I knew I wanted to help others with it. I became a certified Emotion Code, Body Code, and EFT practitioner to help people identify and release past trapped emotions and limiting beliefs that contribute to their physical and emotional symptoms.  I invite you to welcome these methods of healing into your life and see the outstanding benefits for yourself!

I believe the foundation for personal growth is finding gratitude in everything and prioritizing your health and wellness through acts of self love and self care. This can look like resting when needed, setting boundaries with friends / family, or using tools to help self regulate your emotions and nervous system.
